Reporting to the Franchise Owner, the VP of Finance is a senior leadership role focused on driving financial performance, optimizing budgeting processes, and delivering actionable insights to support operational and strategic decisions. This hands-on role oversees forecasting, financial analysis, and operational metrics to ensure profitability and efficiency across all locations. The VP of Finance will play a key role in supporting the franchise’s aggressive growth strategy through robust financial planning, system improvements, and strategic insights.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop and execute financial planning processes, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategies tailored to a multi-location franchise model.
• Conduct variance analyses to identify key factors affecting financial performance and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Create and maintain detailed financial models to support decision-making, growth strategies, and scenario planning.
• Collaborate with mitigation and reconstruction teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and forecasting.

Strategic Business Insights

• Partner with the franchise owner and leadership team to align financial strategies with business objectives and expansion plans.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support operational investments, resource allocation, and growth initiatives.
• Assess risks and opportunities related to new locations or market changes.
• Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for competitive advantage and long-term success.

Performance Measurement and Reporting

• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate financial and operational performance across all franchise locations.
• Prepare accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports for the owner and leadership team.
• Drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of financial reporting.

Compliance and Integrity

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies while maintaining the integrity of financial data.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting, payroll processing, and tax compliance.
• Develop and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback to support professional development and team effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and operational forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP).
• Demonstrated success in driving cost control, profitability improvements, and strategic decision-making.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00/year
